Introduction To Medieval Times
Medieval Times [also known as the Dark Ages or the Middle Ages] was a transition time between the Ancient Times and the Modern Era. During the Medieval Times, many inhumane acts were practised as punishments or medical remedies. If you wished to be entertained in the Middle Ages, you would often find yourself hosting a feast, watching a jousting tournament or amused by an animal, such as dogs or monkeys. Catholicism was the only recognised religion, thus meaning that the Catholic Church dominated people’s lives, this leaving society unable to make their own decisions about life. Believe it or not, amongst this chaotic society, arose the Feudal System. |
About the Feudal SystemThe Feudal System was the most democratic establishment in the Middle Ages. Life was based around the Manor.

The Catholic ChurchThe Catholic Church dominated the Middle Ages. After the Fall of Rome, the Church wanted to gain power so that it could never end in a situation that made the Church look bad.
