Who were the Nobles/Barons?Nobles (or Barons) were people who were just below the King. They were the King's assistants. In return for the King's land they would provide the King with knights for battle. They were granted their own Manor, the privilege to set their own taxes. However, being a Baron/Noble came with its responsibilities; you had to be part of the Royal Council and organize the King's food for his trip.

What was education like?If you were fortunate enough to be born into a Noble family, you would be blessed with an education. Boys were taught by Monks the language Latin and basic maths, music and reading. Unfortunately if you were a girl, you were not blessed with an education.
